List of high end weapons.
Could someone please tell me which weapons I need or don't belong on this list? I'm an idiot at keeping up with the prices...
All tormented weapons. Scythes: - Clockwork Scythe. - Draconian Scythe. - Tentacle Scythe. - Steelhead Scythe. Swords: - Eternal Blade. - Crystal Sword. - Obsidian Edge. - Emerald Blade. Spears: - Voltaic Spear. - Demoncrest Spear. Wands: - Frog Scepter. Foci: - Celestial Focus. Shields: - Draconic Aegis. - Echovald Shield. Staves: - Bone Dragon Staff. Axes: - Eaglecrest Axe. Hammers: - ... o.o Bows: - Dryad Bow. - Silverwing Bow. - Grinning Recurve Bow. Daggers: - Demon Fangs. - Storm Daggers. Edit: Thanks to everyone who has responded. And a lot of people have asked me to be more specific about what I define as high-end. I would say high end is r9 weapons that are 100 k or more, both uninsc and insc, mods almost irrelevant. (I say almost because no one wants a r9 uninsc echovald shield with no bonus lol.) ^^ Thanks for letting me notice. Last edited by Sword Hammer Axe; Dec 06, 2009 at 02:52 PM // 14:52.. |

For many many weapon skins you can't just say it's high-end or not. It's much more diverse than that. Exceptionally low reqirements or a rare or perfect inherent stat or stat combination can make many items high-end. For example staves - I wouldn't call any from your list except the obv BDS high-end, but there are many really nice ones which are definately high-end if good stats (like 20/20 Bo Staff, Celestial, Zodiac, Ghostly, etc...)

I define high end by its average req around 11 is greater then 100k in value. thus i would personally take off:
shinobi blade Fellblade Vertebreaker Onyx Staff Stygian Reaver Chaos Axe. Grinning recurve bow. Amethyst Aegis for the cele compass its super hard to tell as with oh\ther caster weapons because it depends on the attribute. For instance a q9 fast cast compass is way cheaper then a q9 prot or healing focus I'm also not sure about cerimonial spear prices but I would just use my rule of thumb. also just about any q8 weapon is going to be almost always conidered highend if its gold and uninscribable with an inherent or a nice skin and inscribable. also make yourself familiar with the highend area in guru. alot of traffic goes through there and so you can just check it every now and then and see what people are buying and selling. i guess you didn't mean 'high-end weapons that i can sell for 200+e', but what skins are worth a penny out there, in general; which weapons are worth to keep and resell here, so you might earn 20-400k.

i'd add
mammoth axe giant slayers hammer crab claw spiked club not even going to get into the rest because there are many skins that are exclusive to certain dungeons. |

In my eyes, if you're talking about REALLY high-end items, then...
Scythes: Clockwork (maybe) Swords: Obsidian Edge Eternal Blade Emerald Edge Crystalline Sword Spears: Voltaic Axes: Pyroclastic (maybe) Eaglecrest Hammers: None really Shields: Draconic Aegis Amethyst Aegis Wands: Froggie Scepter Foci: Celestial Compass Staves: BDS Bows: Dryad Bow Silverwing Bow Daggers: None really But, as stated, high end is often determined by requirement, stats (if not inscribable), collector's status (wintergreen items, etc), and your definition of high-end. |

your list seems very hit and miss, "high end" is very subjective to what the req and stats are on the weapon.
you wouldnt put a wingblade in "high end" category, but you would certainly put a r7 15^50 in it. you need to be more precise on what list you want. items that still drop? items that dont drop? |

Staff wise I'd add a decent stats Dragon Staff (probably because I want one!).

you could also add bo staffs and dragon staffs to your list seeing as a gold one is generally always agove 100k.

I wouldn't take off The Chaos Axe and the Shinobi blade completely. I believe the uninscribable caster versions (inherent +5Energy) can still be over 100K.
All the rest would be under 100K (15^50 would be close but not over 100K if its uninscribable). Edit: The Celestial Compass is slowly going towards the Low end trade. |

chaos axe r9 15^50 or e+5 is like 50-60k tyrian and nf
shinobi r9 insc can be had for 15-20k, uninsc im unsure. same as vertebreaker tbh, neither will go over 100k for r9 draconics scythe r9 can be had 50-70k still think you need to be more precise on what list you want as you could add an eternal shield to the shield list as a perfect r9 will easily go over 100k, yet an r9 insc would barely make 30k hard to compile a list tbh Last edited by Stop The Storm; Nov 10, 2009 at 05:31 PM // 17:31.. |
